Buzz Holland
May 6 - 7, 20197pm - 9pmBuzz Holland (aka Frank Goodman) is a lifelong songwriter of many styles who performs on the guitar and some banjo, and sings. His partner Duck Holland
plays bass guitar.
His past includes many years with The Goodman Brothers (which featured the young Steve Kimock), many years with the maverick amp company Mesa Boogie, more than a decade of being a songwriter and webzine founder (puremusic.com) in Nashville, and more recently a decade with Duck Holland in Portland OR, where he returned to the stage after some years away.
Although he has made previous CDs as Frank Goodman and as The Goodman Brothers, his more recent CDs as Buzz Holland are The First 21 and Late Bloomer, the latter cut with his friends in the Nashville studio scene.
For some of the dates they’ve booked at The Adrift Hotel, Buzz and Duck Holland will be joined by Dan Eccles, who is an acclaimed Portland guitarist and recent inductee to the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
